RFECY Child Care Centre
RFECY operates a unique child care setting for pre-school children who are Medically Fragile. The child care allows children who have complex care needs to attend a small group setting staffed by individuals who have the training and experience needed to support a safe, nurturing environment.

Children's Mental Health Funding
Funding available to provide the following supports:
Consultation
The Consultation Program provides families and licensed child care providers with ideas to help their children with special needs develop new skills. Families can also receive assistance with identifying and linking with other services that can help their child. This service is available for children ages 2 – 12 years of age.
Community Residential Placement
Supports parents that choose to maintain parental rights but cannot meet their child’s needs in the family home. Provides placement search, case management and monitoring services to families with children with complex care needs ages 0 - 18 years of age. Families play an important role in planning and implementing appropriate supports for their children. To access the program, families must go through a community process to determine eligibility and funding must be available.
Enhanced Staffing
This program provides additional staffing in licensed child care centres to facilitate the inclusion of children with high needs. Staff may be hired directly by the centre or by RFEC to ensure the safety and well being of children with special needs ages 0 - 12 years.
