Mission

To strengthen partnerships and provide a strategic, integrated approach to effective and efficient planning and delivery of services, in order to improve the well-being of children and youth.

Key Goals and Objectives:

• To improve the level and quality of support available to all children and youth through strategic integrated planning.
• To provide planned and strategic leadership through multi-level collaboration and partnership opportunities across Durham Region.
• To maximize the capacity and effectiveness of the overall children’s and youth service system in Durham.
• To provide a forum for information sharing that heightens public awareness.
• To influence government policy directions and decisions regarding future growth and evolution of children and youth services.
