The Leadership Council

The Leadership Council provides direction to the Strategic Planning Alliance. This supports collective planning and problem solving for children and youth services in Durham Region.

In addition, it informs government of the need for enhancements to programs and services that increases the community’s capacity to respond in a collaborative manner.

The Leadership Council is comprised of senior level decision-makers from major sectors in children and youth services in Durham Region. Key sector representation includes but is not limited to the following: Child Welfare, Child & Family Support, Children’s Mental Health, Developmental Services, Education, Health, Regional Municipality of Durham, Recreation, Specialized Support Services, Private Provider, Youth Justice and Family.
