Jody Chapman - President (Child Care Representative)
Jody is a mother of 2 teenage children. She is an Early Childhood Educator and currently the Owner/Supervisor of an integrated child care centre in Durham. Jody's numerous years of experience has benefited the early childhood community. Jody joined the Board of Directors in 1994 and has served as Vice President from 1998 - 2005 and as Secretary-Treasurer from 2005 - 2007.
Art Gray - Vice President (Community Representative)
Art is married and has two grown children. Art's professional background is in telecommunications, and he has worked as a leader in sales, marketing and operations. He has participated in various fundraising activities and charity sporting events. In his spare time he enjoys playing hockey, golf and fishing. He also enjoys time with his family at their cottage on the Trent - Severn Waterway. Art joined the Board of Directors in 2006.
James Pelletier - Secretary Treasurer (Community Representative)
James is a Senior Account Manager with the Royal Bank of Canada. Since joining RBC in 1991, James has held a variety of positions in sales, management, operations, and commercial financial services. He is active in supporting community causes, and has been involved in fundraising activities for several charitable organizations. James is married and has a young daughter. James joined the Board of Directors in 2006.
Dario Gasparotto (Community Representative)
Dario has a diverse background - finance, operations and human resources. He has been involved with the Ajax Soccer Club as a volunteer coach for many years. He has a genuine interest in working with children. In his spare time he runs, cycles, plays soccer, reads and spends time with his family. Dario joined the Board of Directors in 2005.
Sheryl Lamkey (Parent Representative)
Sheryl is a Child and Youth Worker with the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, working in a classroom setting with a large variety of special needs teenagers. Sheryl has a daughter with special needs and has played an active role in advocating for exceptional children. In her spare time she likes to read, do crafts, walk & rollerblade. Sheryl joined the Board of Directors in 2005.
